Meet Brittany

I believe in telling a story, a heartfelt and genuine story with a hint of boldness.

I believe that all the little moments make the big moment.

As cliche as it sounds, I started in photography at a very young age. My dad, Bruce Cannon was a photographer for over 25 years serving Lincoln and St. Charles counties. I always dreamed of running the photography studio with him, bringing the new ideas, working with clients, providing them with their keepsake prints and albums, all while working alongside him. He passed away earlier than I planned, but my love for photography grew. As my photography journey continued, my film journey began. While in graduate school, I started producing films and putting together stories. It was eye-opening, the way a film can reach into your soul and touch your heart based on how the story is shared. My greatest regret is that I didn’t have a videographer at my wedding. My dad passed away 10 days after this picture was taken at my wedding. I would give anything now to have film footage of him and I dancing, his first look with me and him walking me down the aisle.

A Couple More Tidbits

Hey There! I’m Brittany Cannon- a wife and momma to four awesome human kids plus four fur-babies, a lover of sweet tea, a movie junkie and a doer of all new things. I love details, I can’t get enough of the small things. I live for those moments. The little curls that fall in front of my son’s face, the way my youngest son says Mamo, the way my daughter gets nervous performing in front of people and the way the sun peers straight through the trees into a beautiful line to my lens. The small things make the big things.
